Going back home to do work, because work’s ISP is broken today and I can’t reliably connect to anything I need.
I am having a bad case of the Mondays.
Rhapsody should let me search for songs by lyric. It would save me a step since I never know titles or artists.
Er, am I crazy or does IE7 chose to disregard HTTP Refresh headers under certain circumstances?
No more auditions until well after the summer. Yay. :)
People complaining re: Word rendering Outlook’s HTML email [via http://fitoutlook.com] are missing the point. HTML doesn’t belong in email.
Ugh. Just accidentally rm’d instead of opening in vim.
Dusted off Remember The Milk account after letting it sit unused for about a year. Anyone use it with the Windows Mobile client? Worth it?
Oh man. This is just a bizarre exchange. RT @phillypretzel: Richard Simmons bitchslaps FoxNews: http://bit.ly/cQf5q
Exploring the lovely town of Lansdowne. (Not Lansale, as many are apt to think for some reason.) I will not be denied a library card!
Anyone want a tension rod with hanging baskets for the shower? Tried, but there’s no way it’s fitting in mine. http://bit.ly/uZsG8

Contemplating going to @chicagotardis with @chasingdharma, @amandabear, and Mike in November. Oh my. PS: Ugliest/slowest website ever.
Ugh. 1:20 commute home on a Friday makes me grumpy.
Aw. Gary Papa is dead. :(
In hindsight I’m glad we didn’t end up calling it the “Willenium” as proposed by Mr. Smith in “Will 2k”. Society, that was a good call.
Accessibility and and standards compliance are 2 entirely different specific topics. People who write articles need to stop confusing them.
RT @markwunsch: IE8’s latest marketing strategy brings me quite near homicidal: http://tinyurl.com/mj38ly
I was in a bad mood today until I saw The Barrel Monster: http://designyoutrust.com/2009/06/18/barrel-monster/
I think it’s a little odd that Facebook is suggesting I be friends with @bradfitz. :P
Even after all these years, I still love the mix of music found on the Friends TV soundtrack I got in middle school. http://bit.ly/hyDLL
Some people thrive when they have long todo lists and full calendars. I am not one of those people.
Always intrigued by the collection of smells in my building. Ground floor = beer? Second floor = incenses. My floor’s still kinda atticy. :(
Didn’t get stuck behind a single trolley enroute to work! This never happens!
Using Chrome’s JavaScript debugger for the first time. Very nice so far!
It’s a lovely lazy Sunday afternoon. I should probably clean/unpack the kitchen so I will be more inclined to cook things.
Why is there a mouse in the kitchen? Wait, let me rephrase that. Why is there a computer mouse in the kitchen?
Snagged facebook.com/chazmeyers. Sad cpm was too short. Now to set up the apt a bit more and then laundry!
saturday evening laundromat is surprisingly less painful/crowded than I anticipated.
OK, PECO. I can forgive Comcast’s “Myers”, since everyone does that. But “Neyers”? Really? You thought “Neyers” is the most likely choice?
ugh. so far apple’s dvi-to-composite cable is a fail. reading forums now indicates this may be deliberately crippled in newer minis?
Also in the deptartment of pleasant surprises, facebook sucks a lot less in PocketIE since the last time I checked!
Today’s commute was the worst. Got stuck behind a broken trolley, two garbage trucks, and an SUV going <5MPH.
Thursday already?! I feel like I need an extra day on my week.
It is now Taco-o’clock.
Lovely morning thunderstorm. :) I forgive you for waking me up.
Yay callback! :D Now back to debugging PayPal integration code I didn’t write. :(

I’m a fan of functional-style programming, but after a week using lots of prototype-based JS, I’m sick of looking at closures in JS syntax.
I should write a script which could run on a dir of HTML files that would parse URLs and make a pretty directed graph of the connections.
Broccoli + Chicken White Pizza = YUM
I think Rhapsody would be much more interesting if it had a sort of Pandora/Amazon-like recommendation engine. Y’know, without sucking.
This is hypnotic: http://bit.ly/12sch2
Ha! Finally found a good system to unpack/organize cables. Everything goes in ziplocs. Then sorted into bins: computer, tv, power, gadgets.
Desk is partially setup. Sitting in my office chair, I realize the room is not flat. Fearful I will roll backwards into the hallway.
Got the bedroom is mostly unpacked and livable last night. Now all that’s left is the living room.
If you have a mail server + you bounce mail sent to bad addresses or do “challenge response” spam prevention, you are an asshole. FYI.
Dreamhost seems to reeeally want me to upgrade to their new VPS offerings. Hm.
Rocking out hits such as “Motown Philly” and “Da da da” in the office this morning. Pity my coworkers.
Speaker never showed up to PLUG. Got to make fun of http://linuxcad.com/ though. Room had Netscape which rendered the blink tags perfectly!
